Qualifications

Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at an accredited university

Excellent organization and communication skills

Positive attitude, team player, and fun to be around

Sets high goals and works hard to achieve them

Enjoys providing organization to the bidding, estimating, development, and construction management process

Ability to anticipate and resolve issues in a way that helps the entire team succeed

Communicates effectively with the entire project team, including architects, engineers, owners, inspectors, and subcontractors

Skilled in listening, assessing issues, and has the ability to solve problems independently

Ability to participate in multiple projects while staying organized and complying with deadlines

Job Responsibilities may include:

Bid solicitation, follow-up, and management

Takeoff and estimating

Subcontract and purchase order writing

Submittal solicitation and approval

Prepare and process change orders

Process and manage billings, lien waivers, and job reports

Lead meetings, create agendas, and take minutes

Prepare and distribute close-out documents
