Truck sinks into hole in the middle of express - India

 

It has been reported that a Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) truck and two two-wheelers fell into a huge sinkhole that opened up at a parking area of the City Post Office located in the crowded Samadhan Chowk of Budhwar Peth area in Pune India on Friday.

The PMC authorities said that following complaints from locals, a truck and a few workers were pressed into service to clean drainage lines in Budhwar Peth.

The truck reached the premises of the City Post Office around 4 pm to clear the drainage chambers. However, a huge hole of about 25 feet in depth opened up all of a sudden in the ground below the rear wheels of the truck.
